the new couplers arrived; they’re beautiful, but the spline tolerances are too great (the factory sample is a slight press fit on the transfer case output – this is too loose):
additionally, the couplers seem to have a smaller ID than the sample (the original sample hasn’t been returned, but the other one I have access to has a larger OD) – I’m thinking about overall strength here…
